The Volta Wallet is a wonderful facility to have when diving deep into the world of cryptocurrencies. It offers multiple chains for a wide range of currencies, real-time market viewing, the flexibility to create multiple wallets for different purposes and the capacity to access up to 90,000 trading pairs.
To some, all that sounds wonderful. If you are already very well-versed in the world of crypto you will understand that all these things are very important, offering convenience, opportunity and the means to maximise your trading potential, all through one multi-faceted platform.
However, not everyone is like that. Nobody likes to download an app and then find it looks very complex and hard to navigate. It is worse still when it comes with an assumption that you know everything already.
We know that just isn’t the case. The world of crypto is still relatively new. It is fast-moving, with lots of change such as the launch of new currencies, as well as attempts by governments to introduce more regulation.
A User-Friendly App That Works For All
One particular area of change is this: As more people look to get involved and learn about crypto, it is no longer the preserve of a few experts who know all there is to know, are aware of every new development and trading method, and can reel off a list of every cryptocurrency out there.
Nobody wants to dip their toe in a subject only to suddenly find they drown in a sea of complexity, nor be expected to run before they can walk. The Volta Wallet app is designed to make everything a lot easier, but we don’t just expect everyone to know how to make the most of it right away.
That is why we at Volta have provided substantial educational resources. Whether you are fairly new to Crypto, fairly familiar but wishing to know more, or even an experienced Crypto geek, our tutorial videos provide simple, step-by-step instructions on every aspect of the app to make using it easy.
Our Helpful Educational Resources
We chose to do this via videos on YouTube because that way you can always stop and go back if you missed or need to check something, or even go through the whole video again if you need to.
Sometimes you can see instructional videos on YouTube that go on for ages and give you too much information to easily take in all at once. But we avoid that by breaking everything down into short, simple videos, all of them under two minutes in length.
The first one is the step-by-step process of setting up the non-custodial wallet, which is actually straightforward and logical. This includes some very important details about how to keep your details safe and secure, using a seed and mnemonic phrase system. You will need to sign up for a key term that you are taking personal responsibility for this.
It advises this is written down and kept in a very safe place rather than digitally, as this will keep it out of range of hackers.
The next video, the longest at a minute and 40 seconds, explains how to activate the XRP wallet and set up a trust line. Once again, it does this on a step-by-step basis, then explains the XRP balance you need to have and highlights the fact there is another video to explain why the method of XRP set-up (involving a deposit of 10 XRP) is necessary.
You may want to change the name of your non-custodial wallet or even delete it. These two topics are covered in the third video. This is very simple because the ‘delete wallet’ button is next to the ‘update’ button you would click once you have typed in the new wallet name.
This video also tells you that you can restore the wallet using the original eight-number string and mnemonic phrase you used when it was first opened. There is another video that takes you through the process of doing this, so you can be sure.
Crucial Transaction Instructions
When it comes to practical issues in using crypto funds, few functions can be more useful than a means of separating out different funds for varied uses, such as for business, family and personal use. A fourth video explains how to do this, explaining how the same process can be used repeatedly for setting up multiple accounts for fund segregation purposes.
Setting up wallets and accounts is one thing, but the main activities of crypto users and traders are also very well supported by user-friendly functions explained in further videos.
Performing a swap between different currencies is an obvious case in point. This is a central function of the app but involves a sub-menu to access this function. With the guidance provided, the task becomes very easy and you can complete it in seconds.
Another important transaction is the buying and receiving of stellar chain tokens. The video on this topic explains how to do this and also offers another way of setting up a stellar chain wallet. It also includes a reminder that you need to possess the native token of the blockchain, as it is through this that transaction fees are paid.
The other video we presently have is all about how to receive or buy Ethereum (ERC20) tokens. This is very similar to the process for stellar chain tokens and includes a similar extra way of setting up an Ethereum wallet, as well as a reminder about the native token of the Blockchain for transaction fee payments.
Because so many transactions of this kind are similar, it will soon become second nature for those putting the instructions in the videos into practice for Stellar chain tokens and Ethereum to do likewise with a myriad of other currencies.
Making Life Easy
This is the whole idea of these instructional videos; to make what at first might seem uncertain into something extremely straightforward, enabling you to quickly find your way around the app, become familiar with its functions and gain mastery over it.
By subscribing to our YouTube videos, you can then access new tutorials as they come out, ensuring that you are kept aware of updates and everything else that you need to know and are therefore able to make the absolute most of your Volta Wallet.
